The Big Scoop: A Flashback to Flavor & Fenders
Before responsive design ruled the web and mobile-first was even a thing, I was deep in Adobe Flash, animating a world where ice cream met chrome. The Big Scoop was my concept for a retro-inspired ice cream parlor—complete with pastel booths, neon signage, and a parking lot full of two-tone classics that looked like they rolled straight out of a 1950s postcard.
This animation features some of my favorite car designs from way back—think bubble fenders, whitewall tires, and candy-colored paint jobs with cream tops. Whether it was a cherry red coupe with a vanilla roof or a mint green cruiser with chocolate trim, each one was a scoop of style on wheels.
Though the parlor never opened its doors, the spirit lives on in this Flash animation I built back in the day. It’s a little slice of nostalgia, a tribute to the era of drive-ins, jukeboxes, and dreams served in waffle cones.
So grab a virtual cone, crank up the retro vibes, and enjoy The Big Scoop—my animated love letter to ice cream and old-school cool.
